1965 Chevrolet Chevelle
This would be the year the Chevrolet Chevelle matured from its
roots. Forget the small block screamers - now these cars were available
with big block power. It was now the muscle car leader for General
Motors. There were minor exterior changes to the vehicle this year.
A new grill with a horizontal chrome bar replaced the relatively
plain 1964 grill.
Models:
Base, convertible
Malibu SS: High trim options, SS emblems, full wheel covers, and
many motor options.
Z16: Heavy duty convertible frame, heavy duty suspension, SS emblems
on front fender, wider tires, 375hp 396 motor!
