1967 Chevrolet Chevelle
By 1967 the Chevelle was a household name. Chevrolet would sell
nearly 65,000 SS 396's alone during this production year. The changes
to the vehicle were very minor; new chrome bars on the grill, and
tailamps that wrapped around the rear quarter panel. The SS 396
also included a new super sport lettering on the rear quarter panel.
Models:
Base, convertible
SS 396: High trim options, hood scoops. Standard 325 hp 396 motor.
Optional 350hp 396cid.
Z16: Heavy duty convertible frame, heavy duty suspension, SS emblems
on front fender, wider tires, 375hp 396 motor!
