1971 Chevrolet Nova SS
The 1971 Chevrolet Nova was the last year for a truly performance
oriented Nova. Gone was the 402 or 396cid option. Now the top option
was a 270 hp 350cid. From the exterior, the Nova was identical to
previous models.
On the outside, the 1971 Nova SS received small SS badges on the
fenders and rear taillights and a blacked out grill treatment. Otherwise,
the Nova SS appeared virtually identical to any other Nova. Under
the hood the bright chrome engine dress up kit previously used with
super sport cars was deleted in 1971.
