1970 Dodge Coronet R/T

The 1970 Coronet received some new sheet metal again this year.
However, for many Mopar fans the new style lacked the cleanliness
of previous models and it showed in the quickly declining sales
of the Coronet. The new front end styling included two large chrome
bumpers that circled individual grills. Other changes for the 1970
year included some new dress up options and high impact colors.
The Super Bee came with either a C stripe or a bumble bee stripe
on the rear quarters. It also included non functioning scoops on
the hood and came with the standard 383cid. motor. As in previous
years all Super Bee's received the Rallye suspension.
The Coronet R/T included large side scoops on the quarter panel
and R/T badging. Other options were similar to the previous models
including Rallye suspension and the massive 440 Commando motor.
This was the last year for the Dodge Coronet.
