As with other muscle cars this would be the last hooray for the Plymouth Road
Runner and GTX. Despite some sheet metal changes the Road Runner did not sell
well compared to previous years. The last GTX was produced in 1971 but the Road
Runner name was used by Plymouth until 1980.
