1973 Plymouth Road Runner

The 1973 Plymouth Road Runner was remodeled again this year. A traditional
front bumper and square grill were in place. The suspensions were
completely redone to include a more quiet and smooth ride (used
rubber bushings everywhere). A new cowl style hood was introduced
to give an otherwise docile car a more aggressive stance. The good
news was the car still came with heavy duty suspension.
Under the hood were big changes again. The base motor for the once mighty Road
Runner was now a 318cid motor. However, for this year buyers could still option
for a 400 or 440cid motor.
