1970 Mercury Cougar

the 1970 Mercury Cougar received minor styling modifications from the 1969 model year. The Eliminator package once again was introduced but included that 351 Cleveland four barrel V8 motor. However, under the hood were far more options than usually found in the Cougar. Engine options included the Boss 302, 428 CJ, and the 429 Ram Air motor. Despite such power enhancements the sales of Cougar's continued to decline.
