1969 Plymouth Barracuda
The 1969 Plymouth Barracuda was quite similar to the 1968 model. The changes were minimal so visually the cars remained nearly identical. The 1969 Barracuda had rectangular side marker lights, slightly revised grill, and the loss of the chrome louvers.
However, several performance oriented packages were available which were known as 'Cuda Performance Packages. They included Formula S components with twin hood scoops, black stripes, and 'Cuda markings behind the front wheels.
Late in the 1969 production run Plymouth made a 'Cuda 440 option.
However, the car was nose heavy and suffered from very poor handling.
